STATEMENT Media Teror is an independent production unit which operates without state subsidy, sponsors or patrons. In a banal way Media Teror Vision terrorises dumbstruck viewers, it endeavours to bring them to their senses regardless of their own wishes. Using the medium of video and accompanying music it intervenes aggressively in the spectator; it does not ask, but criticises and demands that he/she finally makes a change within his/her view of the world. Media Teror Vision is not the passive screening of moving pictures offering pure delight of the consumer society, but the anarchistic terror of blasting fiction into the head of the viewer. The human animal deserves it, for its deeds prove it unworthy of anything better. Nevertheless, with a single push on the remote control they can easily change channel and escape to POP TV. And everything in their heads will return to its former state ... or maybe not ... Born on 14 December 1965 in Ljubljana. He finished schooling at the Secondary School of Graphics in 1983. Since 1982 he has been involved in video, music, set design, comics and literature. He has been active within Forum Ljubljana, and is since 1989 a member of Strip Core group. In 1995 he founded Media Teror Vision video production unit.

VIDEOGRAPHY: Art video KRIZA / CRISIS
Kuri, the
actor in the video, faces the aggression of the TV medium. He compares
the images of himself to media information, he yields to their influence;
the multiplication of information brings him to a crisis.
KURI KOMPILACIJA
/ THE CURI COMPILATION The Kuri Compilation combines several humorous short video clips: Crisis, Yello Party, Ljubljana Trafik, Art Evening, Bonfire, Rollins, Crime-Criminal Story, The Koncilija Portrait, and Grandma's Robbery. An interview with a street newsvendor, city traffic, 'family' video in nature, video burlesque, criminal story featuring toys.
BOMBO OB
12 H/ A BOMB AT NOON One of the
typical features of the author is the use of non-professional technology
to show everyday reality. On the basis of daily reality he aims to form
conclusions pointing to the insanity of modern man. Perhaps a solution
cannot be reached merely through an artistic attitude, but rather through
radical activity.
DOBRODOŠLI
/ WELCOME Welcome is
a short experimental video film which combines computer graphics and video
image. The resulting new picture produces a new and different vision and
meaning. The product of metamorphosis leaves the viewer with his/her own
understanding of the work.
VIVISEKCIJA
/ VIVISECTION The video collage has a firm structure defined in the scenario. Several videos with different basic messages, accompanied by wild and loud music, are combined into a peculiar, but unique story (A Bomb at Noon, Welcome, Chroma Qart Mix, Vivisection).
MEDIA TEROR
CHROMA QART MIX The video
represents formal research into the space of the television screen. The
artist walks along the lower edge of the screen. When he reaches the side
edge, he begins to walk upwards, defying the rules of gravity. In the
upper edge, the motion of turning onto the new edge is repeated. Rather
than maintaining an upright position, the actor stands on his hands, and
then shoves himself off the screen. The intense physical effort is evident
in his body.

CHROMA QART MIX II A short video collage.
MEDIA TEROR
CHROMA QART MIX III A short video collage as a conclusion of the trilogy.
